Most focus apps ask you to be honest with them. You press start, and the timer keeps running whether you are working or scrolling. Flip Focus takes the honesty out of your hands: the timer only counts while your phone is face down, and it pauses the moment you pick it up. Every minute in your history is a minute the phone was out of reach.

Flip Focus is made by Cosmos Mind Labs, a small independent software studio, and is built and written by its founder, Augustine Ezeh. It runs on iPhone and Android and is available in 45 languages.
